We really enjoyed getting to hear you guys "in person" while at your family reunion Sep 26. In spite of the rainy weather and no sound system, you were terrific!!! We've been listening to your CD's for over 3 years. We purchased your new one that day, and listened to it all the way back to Oklahoma. Especially loved "Seven Bridges Road" and "Life on the Delta". Hope we can get you guys out this way sometime soon.

My wife and I caught TKKB at a show in Midway, KY. It was absolutely wonderful!!!

I wish to publicly thank Anthony, Dan, Doug, Larry and Ricky for dedicating a song to my wife of 11 years on our anniversary tonight.

She was too shy to cry, but it was the "cat's meow," and she talked about it all the way home! She told all her friends and family about it!!!

Can't wait to see you guys again, and can't wait to hear about future projects!

All the best,
Pat, Lexington, KY

We are really enjoying this new cd of yours! Lots of different sounds there.... some fancy chords maybe? Good to hear more focus on Doug's great mandolin playing too, I'm always hoping he'll do more. Great new songs, Anthony! I love your traveling tunes, they really move me a lot. I remember Rick saying "Hickory Wind" is a favorite of his wife's and was glad to see you pick that one up and do more with it. "Legend of the Rebel Solder" is a special fav of ours. Guess you know Ron's a reb reenactor and a civil war history buff. That song makes it all very real again. Favorites on the album? Nah, we love them all. God bless you, one and all!

We heard you sing at Everton at the festival last Sat. My husband has Parkinson's disease so isn't able to get to many events like that. We enjoy your harmony, choice of songs, and especially your new CD. I think we have all your CDs by now. Your music sooths my heart & spirit when I'm down after caring long hours for my husband. It has been so sad to see a very intelligent man get down to the level of a child. He always enjoyed bluegrass & still does when we can go. We made it to Everton the last time you were there this past summer. Keep up your great work!

Bill Hatfield - Monday, June 30th, 2008
Once again, The Kirby Knob Boys have proven they can play and sing any song they want to. The old standards are definitely an important part of your show, but the songs that you write and perform are destined to become classics. Keep up the good work. Success couldn't happen to a nicer group of people. God Bless

Pat Spencer - Sunday, June 29th, 2008
I was finally able to see The Kirby Knob Boys live last Friday at Jackson Energy. The 75 mile drive through thunderstorms was well worth it. I've been listening to their music for over a year now, and was surprised how true their sound live was to the CDs.

I've known Anthony for a while now, but finally got to meet Doug, Larry, Rick and Dangerous Dan. They are all a class act. I hope to catch more of their shows.

At the show, I really enjoyed hearing the old standards, and their new songs live. I know the new CD has been a long time coming.

I've been lucky enough to hear a near finished version of the CD. It will be worth the wait for fans. It is a great mix of accoustical gospel, bluegrass and blues. I was impressed by the creativity and courage to branch out and try new things while maintaining tradition.

Thanks for all the good emails and comments on the web site. I do my best to give these "class act" guys a nice home on the web.

From deep in my heart, I want to thank you for playing for my mother, Darlene Henderson, when she was visiting Danny's mother in Kentucky in May. I was not able to be with her, but my two sisters, Deanna and Karma, and my father, Ken, were there. It was truly a special time for my mother, and despite her physical condition, she is determined to be well for your visit to Canton, Texas. She is so amazed: "Can you believe that they played for me?", she asked! You have created such a wonderful memory for her, and God willing, we will see you next spring in Canton, Texas. Thank you so very much! Vicky

The Hogans, Ron & Jean - Saturday, October 6th, 2007
Just stopping by to visit the site and see what you're up to these days. Any new cd's in the works yet? We're feeling KKB deprived for not getting to see you this summer, so I've got all your cd's out and really been enjoying Driftin' Away once again. I wonder if I could have words to that one? I'll figure out chords that'll work. Wish you couldv'e been here to see me sing at our Serenity Shack last night. I got a standing ovation! What a thrill - that was a first for me! But it was the Lord's inspiration in my song that they were appaulding and I'm full of gratitude for that!
God bless you all,
Jean, in Illinois

hey guys, winter's getting too long here and we are starving for a festival. Sooooo, we're heading up to Hannibal Missouri in a couple weeks, where, at the Hannibal Inn there, musicians by the hundreds take over the place and jam for three days solid. Concerts too, if you can put down your instruments long enough to listen! Food's great, people are down-home friendly, and the music is unbeatable. All the same, it'd be better if you could be there. Don't you need a winter vacation?

Hi! I work with Dick Pierle in selecting the bands for the Prescott Arizona Bluegrass Festival. Noticed on your schedule that Saturday June 23, 2007 was not included; Sunday June 24 was. Hope you're planning on both days. Looking forward to seeing you here.

Great seeing you shine at Little Eagle Creek! The crowd loved you! Looking forward to hearing that "Chicago" tune on a cd so we can learn it. Even Ron says now that he's been in the country 8 years or so, he "Wants to Go Home" every time we go up there to visit family.
God bless until next time....

Wow, it was sure great seeing you guys again.....this time at the famous Bean Blossom stage in Indiana. I'm sending along some of the pictures we took. Oh and we meant to tell you after the show that we really enjoyed your rendition of "Dirty Old Town". As you might guess folks with the last name of Hogan might like Irish music and you did that one very well! We love the way you treat your fans to honorable mention on special tunes and really appreciate you doing some of our favorites. I'll be practicing up for our next gig, guys. Ha! See you on down the roads a ways.......
God bless you and your families,
Ron & Jean in Gifford IL

Love your song "The gray in your hair". Sitting here trying to plinkaplunk along with the cd here and sing along, but can't quite make out the words in the second line in the verse that goes:
"I hope you see what I'm saying,........"
Can you help me out? I'm a one gal band in my own kitchen! With you guys for backup I don't sound too bad!
God's blessings on ya,
